This page explains how to delete your Kepp account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to the Kepp mobile apps (iOS and Android) and the Kepp web app.
Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within Kepp:
- Open Kepp on your phone or at app.kepp.social and log in.
- Go to Settings → Account details.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm by tapping Delete permanently.
Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete by email
If you cannot access your account, email privacy@kepp.social from the address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently delete the personal data linked to it, including:
- Your account profile (email, username, full name, age, bio, avatar).
- Your collections and the items in them.
- Your notes.
- Your follows, blocks, notifications and login sessions.
- Reports you submitted.
What may be retained
- Content you saved or created that has been shared into the public network is anonymized (disassociated from your account) rather than deleted, so other users' collections are not broken.
- Limited records we are legally required to keep (e.g., for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations) are retained only for as long as the law requires, then deleted.
- Routine backups may retain data for a short period before they are rotated and overwritten.
