1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Kepp ("Kepp", "we", "us"). They govern your access to and use of the Kepp website, web application, and mobile applications (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility & age
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority in your country (e.g., 18 in Türkiye), you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16; see the Privacy Policy.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Each email address and username is unique to a single account.
- Notify us promptly at security@kepp.social of any unauthorized use.
4. What Kepp is — and is not
Kepp is a curation and link-aggregation tool. The core of the Service lets you save links to content hosted on third-party platforms (such as X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and the open web) and organize them into collections. Kepp stores the link and a limited preview (such as a title, thumbnail, or short description retrieved from the public page or its metadata). Kepp does not host, own, or control the underlying third-party content. See Section 7 and the Content Policy.
5. Your content & license
You retain ownership of the notes, collections, descriptions, and other materials you create on Kepp ("Your Content"). You grant Kepp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service (including showing your public collections and notes to others as you choose). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to post it.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- post or save unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative (especially involving minors), or violent content;
- upload malware, scrape, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security;
- misrepresent your identity or impersonate others;
- circumvent the terms or technical protections of third-party platforms.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Third-party content, links & platforms
Kepp is a link aggregator and curation layer; it is not the source of third-party content. When you or others save a link, the original content stays on the third-party platform and remains the property and responsibility of its original creators and those platforms. Kepp:
- does not create, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, legality, or availability of third-party content;
- is not responsible or liable for third-party content, websites, or services that links point to or that previews are derived from;
- displays previews/metadata for identification and convenience under applicable fair-use / quotation principles, and removes them on valid request (see Content Policy).
Your use of any third-party platform is governed by that platform's own terms. We are not a party to, and assume no responsibility for, your dealings with third parties.
8. Intellectual property & takedowns
The Kepp name, logo, and software are owned by Kepp and protected by law. If you believe content on Kepp infringes your rights, send a notice to legal@kepp.social as described in the Content Policy. We respond to valid notices and operate a repeat-infringer policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Service or any third-party content will be error-free, secure, or always available.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kepp and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service or any third-party content. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Kepp harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., 5, 7, 9–11) will survive termination.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply.
